A couple years back Ron and I got the opportunity to spend a few days in Calgary with Pat Nixon, and visit his mission The Mustard Seed. This week Pat stepped down from the Seed after 27 years. Check out this article, he is a truly great person!

Hi everyone,
Had a great day today!!!
St-James hosted 17 volunteers from River's Edge community church, who gave up their sunday to help us give the drop-in a face-lift. Newly painted kitchen, bathrooms, and food storages are just some of the things that were accomplished today thanks to some very cool and kind people from our community!!!As if that were not enough, a friend of ours Duane Mansveld who is a street worker with the baptist churches, donated 5 boxes of socks and long underwear for our street friends.....a great day indeed!!!!

On sunday august the 29th, a team of volunteers from River's Edge Community Church is coming to the drop-in to help us refresh the space; on the daily menu: painting, plastering, furniture building, cleaning, etc...
