Hi everyone,
I am speaking (and am part of the organizing committee) at StreetLevel Quebec, which will be held in mid-October right here at St-James United in downtown Montreal. This 2 day conference is a unique opportunity to share and learn about different issues within the realm of social justice. Check out our webiste for further details on our speakers, workshops, etc... @ www.streetlevelquebec.org

Summer News for St-James
Hi everyone,
Just taking a few minutes to share some exciting news: In July the centre will be hosting a social justice summer camp, and our hope is that the participants will walk away with a new sense of commitment to those that are all too often overlooked. During this summer camp, the participants will have the opportunity to spend time in the centre (connecting with our members), and will also follow a series of workshops / discussions on different topics related to social justice.
I will keep you all posted!

Hi everyone,
It has been a while since I have written, so I thought I would drop you all a line and give you some recent info from St-James:
On saturday June 26th, the drop-in will be hosting its second annual gospel concert. Tickets will soon be available; I will let you know where you can get them. Do not miss this amazing show led by Kim Sherwood.
Also for those of you who have been following my marathon updates, I am postponing my run until October during which I will be taking part in the Toronto marathon. The reason for this delay, is that in the next 4 weeks I will be having surgery on my throat and will obviously not be able to run for a few weeks!
Further updates will follow
