Juste pour Servir

The St-James Centre in association with Jeuness Sans Limite, offers a 5 day summer camp to explore the inner city of Montreal and how to respond to the needs of your own communities.

It will be happening in English (July 15-19) and in French (July 22-26) at Maison de l'Amitié, 120 Avenue Duluth E.

Situated in the heart of Ville-Marie, the St. James Drop-in Centre serves men and woman who are experiencing difficulty in their daily living situations.

The centre’s Art Studio offers a safe environment where members can express their thoughts and experiences through means of art media. Providing a welcome respite from daily irritants,
our artists create side by side to address their hardship in a positive way. Sales from our expositions encourage both artists and members, with 50% returned to the artist and the remaining portion directed towards the essential needs of the centre.

Ride For Refuge on October 23rd, 2010

The Ride for Refuge is a tangible way for me to engage with the displaced, vulnerable and exploited - to connect to the hurt and pain personally, and to do something about it by riding my bike and raising some money. On RIDE day thousands of other riders and volunteers will join me - together we will make a real difference in the lives of refugees, orphans, widows, street kids and many more who need my assistance - thanks for helping me do this!

Summer Camp "Juste Pour Servir"

Youth Unlimited (in partnership with the St-James Drop-In Centre) is organizing a summer camp from July 16th to July 20th. Benefit Concert on June 26th, 2010

A Benefit Dinner at the St-James Centre

On the 27th of November 2009, the St-James Drop-In Centre will be hosting its first annual fundraising gala.
Tickets are 50$, and all proceeds will be used to further the programs that the St-James Drop-In Centre offers to its members (many of which are homeless and / or suffering from mental illness).
